US publishes fresh lists of 10 Nigerians on ICE “worst of the worst” register

The United States has published fresh names of 10 Nigerians marked for deportation over various crimes. According to PUNCH, the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement added the individuals to the Department of Homeland Security’s “Worst of the Worst” register, citing offences ranging from fraud and identity theft to child-related and drug crimes. The update, seen on Friday on the official DHS website, identifies them as criminal immigrants arrested by ICE. The 10 Nigerians and their offences are:

Temitope Bashua — Fraud by wire, identity theft and fraud — Allenwood, Pennsylvania

Ojehoro Lewis — Cruelty toward child — Conroe, Texas

Osemudiamen Kingsley Oziegbe — Fraud by wire — Louisville, Kentucky

Daniel Oworen — Dangerous drugs — Conroe, Texas

Raymond H. Ekevwo — Fraud by wire — Oxford, Wisconsin

Franklin Dikeocha — Sex offence against child (fondling) — Dallas, Texas

Johnson Ogunlana — Fraud and identity theft — White Deer, Pennsylvania

Chukwuemeka Okorocha — Fraud by wire, dangerous drugs, weapon possession and aggravated assault — Allenwood, Pennsylvania

Tunde Korede — Conspiracy — Allenwood, Pennsylvania

Chukwuemeka Chinye — Larceny, fraud, identity theft and conspiracy — Pollock, Louisiana

DHS described the register as highlighting the “worst of worst criminal aliens” arrested by ICE, stating the department was fulfilling President Trump’s promise of mass deportations. The latest update follows a July list of 124 Nigerians published on the same register, none of whom overlap with the 10 newly named individuals.

Neither the July nor the latest publication specifies deportation dates or confirms that the individuals have already been deported. The lists only identify those arrested by ICE alongside the criminal charges linked to their cases, leaving their deportation timeline uncertain.
