Victim: How my friend tricked me into selling my kidney, spent payment on phones

A Nigerian man, Samuel Ezekiel, has narrated how his friend, Emmanuel Odeh, allegedly deceived him into having his kidney removed at Wellington Hospital, Abuja, under a false identity, according to a report by Punch.

Speaking during a police parade of suspects linked to an organ-harvesting syndicate, Ezekiel said he was paid in dollars but handed the money to Odeh, who spent it on phones and gadgets. Police paraded Odeh alongside two doctors and other suspects following a sting operation in Nasarawa State, saying investigations into the syndicate continue.
