Wike: I would have secured Osun for Tinubu even if people did not vote for APC
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has claimed he would have delivered Osun State to President Bola Tinubu’s political camp if the President wanted to win Saturday’s governorship election at all costs.
According to Peoples Gazette, Wike said the election would have produced a different outcome had he joined the federal government team in Osun.
Wike maintained that no federal might was deployed to influence the election and cited his electoral record as evidence of his political strength.
Governor Ademola Adeleke defeated APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji and 13 other contestants to secure re-election in the August 15 poll.
