Wike’s aide, Rufai Oseni clash during interview

Lere Olayinka, spokesperson for FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, declined to answer questions from Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni during a live broadcast on Friday, according to a report by Vanguard. Appearing on The Morning Show, Olayinka objected to engaging Oseni after taking exception to his alleged use of the term “emudani.”

When Oseni pressed him on why Betta Edu, facing corruption allegations, was included in the presidential campaign council, Olayinka instead said, “I don’t want to answer any question from you,” insisting he preferred conversing with “reasonable human beings.” The clash extends their history of public disagreements, including a past dispute over Oseni’s journalism qualifications and on-air conduct.
