Woman stripped naked, beaten black blue after caught in bedroom with police officer’s hubby

A young woman stripped naked and beaten in a viral video by a Zambian police officer had gone to the officer’s home to collect K1,500 in unpaid rent from the officer’s husband — with whom she had been in a relationship since October 2024 after he told her his marriage had broken down, fresh investigations have revealed.

As reported by Tribune, Muchinga Province police commander Kenneth Kang’ombe confirmed that Inspector Diana Mukelebai abandoned her duty post, drove home in full uniform carrying an AK-47 rifle after receiving a tip-off, and stormed the bedroom where the 23-year-old single mother and Kennedy Simumba were found together — though the woman told investigators no sexual act occurred.

Three other women joined Mukelebai in forcing the victim to undress at gunpoint while recording the assault on a mobile phone. Police investigations are ongoing.
