You risk dying in poverty if you vote Tinubu in 2027, Amaechi warns

Vice-presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rotimi Amaechi, has warned Nigerians against voting for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election, alleging that continued support for the administration could worsen poverty.

According to PUNCH, Amaechi spoke during a meeting with stakeholders in Obigwe, Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The former governor criticised Tinubu’s removal of the fuel subsidy, which he said had subjected Nigerians to hardship. Amaechi said his visit was aimed at mobilising grassroots supporters ahead of the election. “Why am I coming now? It’s to make sure that I have the foot soldiers that will fight the war,” he said.
