Trump threatens ‘long-term jail’ for leakers over missile shortage report
President Donald Trump lashed out on Truth Social, threatening jail for “treasonous” leakers after the Washington Post reported he confronted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over an alleged munitions shortage, according to The Independent.
The White House denied the confrontation occurred, while Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell called claims of depleted stockpiles “fictional.”
Reports say the Army has used nearly all its long-range missile stock amid the six-month Iran conflict, raising readiness concerns.
