A Nigerian national serving in the U.S. Army, identified as Uzoamaka, has pleaded with President Trump to grant her critically ill daughter a visa, according to Peoples Gazette.
In an emotional Instagram video, Uzoamaka said her daughter, separated from her for 10 years, completed all immigration requirements but remains stuck in Nigeria due to Trump’s visa restrictions amid a security threat designation.
She said she has reached out to her commanders, media outlets and Senator Amy Klobuchar without success, and appealed for a humanitarian exception, warning her daughter’s illness is worsening daily.
