Air Peace halts operations nationwide
Air Peace flight operations have been grounded nationwide after Nigeria Labour Congress members locked the airline’s terminals in protest, according to Daily Post Nigeria.
Operations at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos were disrupted, preventing a scheduled 6:30am departure, with similar disruptions reported at airports across the country. NCAA’s Michael Achimugu confirmed the incident, describing it as a union matter, while promising further details.
Stranded passengers, including one with a missed Abuja appointment, took to social media to complain. Air Peace’s management had not commented as of the report’s filing.
