Osun: Four Accord supporters dead in Ilesa, Adeleke camp alleges
The Imole Campaign Council says four Accord Party members have been killed in the Ilesa area of Osun State ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, according to Peoples Gazette.
Spokesperson Pelumi Olajengbesi linked the killings to Senator Francis Fadahunsi’s Osun East district, days after Fadahunsi allegedly urged APC supporters to “kill” Accord members. He called on the Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, to ensure a thorough investigation.
The state police command’s spokesman did not respond to inquiries as of press time, with 15 candidates set to contest Saturday’s poll.
