NDLEA arrests Nigerian influencer over $28m UK-bound cocaine haul
A Nigerian social media influencer has been arrested over alleged links to a cocaine shipment worth nearly $28 million destined for the United Kingdom.
The BBC reports that Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, popularly known as “KC Luxury,” was arrested at Lagos airport while preparing to fly to Paris.
Nigeria’s NDLEA alleges Micheal was the Nigerian “arrowhead” of an international drug trafficking network.
Authorities earlier seized 184.5kg of cocaine concealed in boxes at a Lagos courier facility.
Micheal, who has about 700,000 Instagram followers, has not commented on the allegations and has not been charged in court.
