Atiku challenges Tinubu to ‘publish the ledger’ over N30trn unexplained revenue
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has challenged President Bola Tinubu to publish a detailed account of federation revenues, deductions and transfers, saying nearly N30 trillion requires transparent reconciliation as of July 2026.
In a statement by his aide, Phrank Shaibu,as reported by The Cable, Atiku noted that July’s FAAC figures showed N4.359 trillion in gross revenue, with only N3.007 trillion distributed. He specifically demanded accountability for subsidy-removal windfalls, saying, “Where is the money?” He urged the government to publish its ledger rather than issue press statements.
