‘Genuflecting before Wike’ — Sowore blasts Davido amid Osun poll violence

Activist Omoyele Sowore has criticised singer Davido over his visit alongside his uncle, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike in Abuja on Thursday.

According to Daily Post, a viral 16-second video showed Davido discussing the Osun election outcome with Wike. Reacting on X, Sowore described them as “political hustlers,” questioning why Davido was “genuflecting before Nyesom Wike” despite deadly violence during the election.

He called them “dissemblers, gerrymanderers, carpetbaggers,” alleging their interests converge behind public grandstanding. Reports indicate APC and Accord Party supporters were killed before and during the poll.
