Nigerian man in Canada charged over alleged sexual assault of two women
Canada-based Nigerian man Olusegun Onidare has been arrested and charged over the alleged sexual assault of two women in separate incidents in Brampton, Ontario, according to a report by Peoples Gazette.
Peel Regional Police said the assaults occurred on August 31, with a woman in her 20s attacked while shopping at a mall, and an underage girl assaulted later that day at a transit terminal after the suspect engaged her in conversation.
Onidare, 33 and of no fixed address, was identified after a member of the public recognised him from a police release. He faces two counts of sexual assault and one count of breach of probation, and remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
