2027: Money cannot erase northern grievances against Tinubu — Baba-Ahmed

The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has warned President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) against underestimating northern voters ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to TheCable, Baba-Ahmed issued the warning in a Facebook post on Sunday, questioning the ruling party’s campaign strategy across northern states.

“We know they will share money that has never been seen distributed in politics. Their problem is undermining the northerners,” he said.

Baba-Ahmed alleged that financial inducements would not erase grievances against Tinubu’s administration.

“We will show them that we, too, are citizens whose voices and dignity matter,” he declared.

He also cautioned against electoral manipulation, insisting that voters’ decisions must be respected.

“If we reject the APC and Tinubu, nobody should attempt to manipulate or overturn the outcome of the election,” he warned.

The PRP chairman challenged APC supporters to prepare for the contest.

His remarks followed Tinubu’s inauguration of the APC presidential campaign council in Abuja on Wednesday.
