Six Pundits predict Chelsea vs Man United outcome as Michael Carrick put under pressure
Pundits have unanimously predicted a Chelsea victory over Manchester United ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, as head coach Michael Carrick faces mounting pressure following a 3-0 home loss to Bournemouth, according to a report by Daily Mirror.
Discussing the match on That Peter Crouch Podcast, former striker Peter Crouch tipped Chelsea for a 2-1 win, noting:
“At the time of recording, Carrick is still in charge, but if he is still in charge, it is a difficult one to navigate. Especially having fallen out with Bruno [Fernandes].”
Co-host Steve Sidwell leaned toward a tight 1-0 win for the Blues.
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Steve Nicol predicted a 2-1 home victory on ESPN FC, questioning United’s player accountability:
“Give me one thing that will make a difference. And there is only one thing… responsibility.”
Additionally, pundits Mark Goldbridge, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, and John Mikel Obi all backed Chelsea to capitalize on United’s ongoing struggles.
