Blues Outclass Red Devils at Stamford BridgeChelsea returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a decisive 2-0 victory over Manchester United, compounding the pressure on manager Michael Carrick.

Following a competitive but goalless opening 45 minutes in West London, the Blues seized control after the break. Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock with a brilliant individual effort, set up by a key turnover forced in midfield.

The match swung heavily in Chelsea’s favor shortly after when Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez was shown a red card for bringing down Wesley Fofana inside the penalty area.

Cole Palmer stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick, marking his 50th Premier League goal for the club and securing a comfortable victory for Xabi Alonso’s side.
