Paris Jackson asks court to release $600m from Michael Jackson’s estate

Paris Jackson is asking a court to release $600 million from her late father Michael Jackson’s estate for a trust set up to benefit her and her two brothers.

In a new filing, Paris claims the family trust has remained unfunded for more than 17 years, despite the estate generating billions of dollars since the singer’s death in 2009.

She argues that around $600 million is available for distribution, pointing to an estate accounting that showed approximately $850 million in cash and cash-equivalent assets at the end of 2024.

Paris is asking a Los Angeles judge to order a partial transfer of the estate’s assets into the trust, which was established to provide for her, Prince and Bigi Jackson.
