2027: Atiku’s media aide reacts to viral video of Tinubu stumbling after campaign
Atiku’s aide urges Tinubu to withdraw from 2027 presidential race
Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has urged President Bola Tinubu to withdraw from the 2027 presidential election following a viral video showing him apparently losing his balance.
According to Daily Post, the footage emerged after Friday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, showing Tinubu appearing to stagger while approaching his convoy.
Reacting on X, Ibe questioned the president’s ability to withstand another election campaign and serve a second term.
He wrote: “Tinubu’s latest campaign appearance raises a question the APC can no longer brush aside. Is he up to the demands of another presidential campaign and a second term?
“Aunty Remi and Seyi, you are among those closest to him. Give him the honest counsel his party seems unwilling to offer. Urge him to step out of the race with dignity.”
The video has generated reactions online, although the brief footage does not establish any medical condition.
