Alarm bells for JD…
Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff leads Vice President JD Vance by five points, 49% to 44%, in a hypothetical 2028 presidential matchup, according to a new Daily Mail report citing Emerson College Polling data. Ossoff’s lead narrows to three points against Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Ossoff, currently seeking Senate re-election, has repeatedly denied any 2028 ambitions.
The survey of 1,000 likely voters also found Pete Buttigieg holding a consistent five-point edge over both Republicans, while Trump’s approval rating sits at 40%, with 56% disapproving. The poll was conducted August 16-17 with a margin of error of ±3%.
