Arsenal prefer Nwaneri to leave on loan
Arsenal are prioritising loan offers for teenage attacker Ethan Nwaneri, unwilling to sell him permanently, according to a BBC Sport report.
The 19-year-old’s future has attracted speculation after being left out of Arsenal’s Community Shield squad against Manchester City. Arsenal acknowledge Nwaneri needs regular senior football, but limited game time behind Mikel Arteta’s attacking options makes a loan more likely.
Arteta said he wants Nwaneri to stay but must consider what’s best long-term. AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Fulham have shown interest. Arsenal remain open to a rethink if offers exceed their valuation.
