Barcelona agree €50m Ferran Torres transfer to PSG
Barcelona have agreed in principle to sell Spain forward Ferran Torres to Paris Saint-Germain for almost €50 million ($57 million), according to Vanguard. The 26-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the French champions, with his medical and remaining paperwork reportedly the only steps left.
Barcelona rejected PSG’s initial €40 million offer on Monday, with Torres having one year remaining on his contract. Signed from Manchester City in 2021 for more than €55 million, he scored 40 goals in 94 appearances over the past two seasons. His departure leaves Barcelona seeking additional attacking options following the exits of Robert Lewandowski and Marcus Rashford.
