Barcelona Player Ratings: Yamal and Raphinha shine with 9/10s as Jesus arrived in win over Feyenoord
Barcelona made a statement on the opening night of their Champions League campaign, sweeping aside Feyenoord 5-1 at Camp Nou with an attacking display full of quality and confidence.
Raphinha led the charge with two goals, while Karim Adeyemi marked his first European appearance for the Catalans with a stunning strike.

Garcia had little to do for long periods but remained composed when called upon. He made some useful interventions, although a couple of unnecessary mistakes offered Feyenoord encouragement.
Joao Cancelo — 7.5/10
Cancelo looked comfortable defensively while providing an attacking outlet from the flank. He also claimed the assist for Adeyemi’s spectacular goal.
Andreas Christensen — 6.5/10
Christensen produced a calm and assured display at centre-back. His positioning, distribution and experience helped Barcelona maintain control throughout the contest.
Pau Cubarsi — 7/10
Cubarsi once again showed maturity beyond his years. He played an important role in Barcelona’s buildup and moved the ball forward quickly from defence.
Jules Kounde — 7/10
Kounde responded well to recent criticism with a much-improved performance. He defended reliably and contributed going forward, though he switched off for Feyenoord’s goal.
Rodri — 7/10
Rodri quietly dominated the midfield battle. His positioning and ball recoveries allowed Barcelona to regain possession quickly and gave Pedri greater freedom higher up the pitch.
Pedri — 7.5/10
Pedri was outstanding between the lines, repeatedly creating openings with his passing. His superb assist for Raphinha’s second goal capped another influential performance.
Dani Olmo — 6.5/10
Olmo struggled to match the attacking influence of Fermin Lopez but offered control and composure in midfield. His contribution was steady rather than spectacular.
Karim Adeyemi — 7.5/10
Adeyemi provided pace, aggression and shooting threat on his Champions League debut for Barcelona. His brilliant long-range finish was the highlight of an encouraging display.
Raphinha — 9/10
Raphinha once again delivered when Barcelona needed him. He struck inside three minutes before adding another after the break, underlining his importance as captain and match-winner.
Lamine Yamal — 9/10
Yamal gradually grew into the contest before producing his magic. His magnificent free-kick and superb cross for Jesus’ goal completed an influential attacking performance.

Gabriel Jesus — 7/10
Jesus needed just one touch after coming on to score his first Barcelona goal, converting Yamal’s cross with a well-directed header.
