Tottenham suffer Mykhailo Mudryk injury blow ahead of Everton clash
Tottenham have suffered a setback with Mykhailo Mudryk expected to miss action after suffering an ankle injury in training. According to football.london, the Ukrainian winger is not expected to return until after the international break. Mudryk joined Spurs from Chelsea on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day, reuniting with manager Roberto De Zerbi, his former Shakhtar Donetsk coach.
The 25-year-old made his Tottenham debut last weekend as a substitute during the goalless draw against Nottingham Forest, ending a 646-day wait for competitive football following his suspension. He is now set to miss Everton, Liverpool and Aston Villa fixtures.
