Christians ‘continue to get slaughtered’ – US Lawmaker opposes Nigeria’s CPC removal

U.S. lawmaker Riley Moore has opposed calls to remove Nigeria from the “countries of particular concern” list, insisting President Bola Tinubu’s administration is not doing enough to end Christian killings in the country.

According to Gazette NGR, Moore made the call in a post on X on Tuesday, reacting to a statement by Under Secretary of State Allison Hooker on a Joint Working Group meeting with a Nigerian delegation led by NSA Nuhu Ribadu in Washington.

Moore, a member of a U.S. fact-finding delegation on alleged Christian genocide, said Nigerians “continue to get slaughtered.”
