Conor Bradley edging closer to Liverpool return
Northern Ireland defender Conor Bradley is nearing a return to Liverpool training after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, boosting the Reds’ options at right-back.
According to a report by Liverpool.com, manager Andoni Iraola confirmed that the 23-year-old is preparing to rejoin group activities as he progresses in his rehabilitation from a severe injury sustained in January.
Former international teammate Conor Washington backed Bradley to make a significant impact upon his return, noting that Liverpool has severely missed the energetic full-back’s balanced play and defensive aggression.
Bradley’s return provides a timely solution to Liverpool’s ongoing tactical adjustment at right-back, where center-back Ronald Araujo and wing-back Jeremie Frimpong have recently split duties.
Former striker Washington expressed confidence in Bradley’s mentality, emphasizing his proven history of returning from injury setbacks in top physical condition.
