Tebas accuses Real Madrid of Goebbels-style propaganda techniques
La Liga president Javier Tebas has launched a fierce critique of Real Madrid’s leadership and club channel, Real Madrid TV, accusing them of orchestrating a campaign that portrays the club as a constant victim.
According to a report by Madrid Universal, Tebas claimed the club’s narrative strategy mirrors the propaganda methods of Joseph Goebbels through systematic repetition, fueling suspicion, and subverting facts to frame an enemy. He clarified that his comparison applied strictly to propaganda tactics, not Nazi ideology or supporters.
Tebas challenged Real Madrid’s complaints regarding refereeing and match scheduling following Vinicius Jr.’s four-match suspension, asserting that the club frequently receives favorable fixture calendar adjustments. He urged the club to publish its full record of granted requests rather than selectively presenting grievances to the public.
