Davido kicks against Adeleke’s backing of Tinubu, blames APC for Osun deaths
Afrobeats singer David “Davido” Adeleke has publicly opposed his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s, support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, according to a report by Peoples Gazette, describing the All Progressives Congress (APC) as “ruthless and disgusting.”
Davido alleged APC-linked violence caused deaths during Saturday’s Osun governorship election, which Adeleke won for a second term. Despite his nephew’s stance, Governor Adeleke reaffirmed his endorsement of Tinubu, thanking him for ensuring a free and credible election. Davido responded by urging his uncle to stop backing any presidential candidate.
