Diesel nears ₦2,000/l, manufacturers warn of higher costs
Manufacturers and bakers have warned that rising diesel prices, approaching ₦2,000 per litre in some parts of Nigeria, could worsen production costs, food inflation and the cost-of-living crisis.
According to Daily Trust, the Crude Oil Refinery Owners Association of Nigeria urged the government to boost domestic refining and crude supply. CORAN said domestic refineries could produce enough diesel to meet national demand
