Kevin De Bruyne makes huge Arsenal claim after Napoli Champions League defeat
Kevin De Bruyne has labelled Arsenal “the best team in the world” after Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Napoli 1-0 in their Champions League opener. The former Manchester City star, now playing for Napoli, admitted his team faced an exceptionally strong opponent despite producing some promising moments.
Arsenal dominated large periods at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium but were frustrated by their finishing before Martin Ødegaard struck in the 75th minute to secure victory. As reported by Metro Sport, De Bruyne also praised Napoli’s performance while acknowledging Arsenal’s status as reigning Premier League champions and last season’s Champions League finalists.
