Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected from a WNBA game Sunday night after a courtside shouting match with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud.

According to Just the News, the confrontation erupted late in the third quarter when Cloud approached Freedom, who was wearing a shirt reading, “WOMAN noun. adult human female.” Security intervened after Freedom stood and moved toward Cloud, escorting him from the arena. Freedom continued displaying the shirt as he left.

The former NBA center is reportedly among two ex-NBA players seeking eligibility for the WNBA draft later this month, saying they publicly identify as women.
