‘I can’t watch my daddy die’: Daughters of veteran actor Ogogo cry out as hospitals refuse cancer treatment

The daughters of veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, have made an emotional public appeal for medical assistance after hospitals reportedly refused to continue treating their father, who is battling stage-four cancer.

The Punch reports that Lima and Kira Taiwo separately posted tearful appeals on Instagram on Monday, urging Nigerians and medical professionals with cancer treatment experience to help save their father.

“I can’t watch my daddy die. Please, I’m begging you,” Lima said in a video, clarifying the family was not soliciting funds but seeking medical connections.

The family said they only discovered the full extent of Ogogo’s condition three weeks ago, despite his outward appearance showing few signs of serious illness.
