I’ll ‘swim the Atlantic’ for Tinubu if he upholds democracy — Momodu
Publisher Dele Momodu says he would “swim to the depth of the Atlantic Ocean” for President Bola Tinubu if his administration upheld the democratic principles they fought for against military rule. Speaking on Arise TV Thursday, as reported by Daily Post, Momodu said his only concern was the risk of civilian dictatorship replacing military dictatorship.
He said his criticism of Tinubu was selective and never personal, crediting the President for instilling in him the discipline to challenge authority. Their relationship dates back to the 1990s pro-democracy struggle under NADECO.
