‘In the spirit of democracy’ — Oyebamiji finally congratulates Adeleke

The APC candidate in the August 15 Osun governorship poll, Bola Oyebamiji, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke, who was declared winner by INEC, according to a PUNCH report.

In a Saturday address, Oyebamiji alleged attacks on businesses over perceived political affiliations and demanded an end to killings and harassment of APC members, citing over 35 lives lost to poll violence. He urged Adeleke to protect citizens’ lives and property.

Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes.
