Karoline Leavitt joining Fox News as on-air contributor
Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will join Fox News as an on-air contributor on November 1, weeks after stepping down from her White House role to focus on her family, CNN reports.
Fox News said in a statement that Leavitt “will provide political analysis and commentary” across Fox platforms. Leavitt said she would bring “the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers across their many platforms.”
A source familiar told CNN that Leavitt has moved back to New Hampshire with her husband and two young children, and that the network agreed to build a studio in her home.
Trump announced on August 12 that Leavitt was leaving and has yet to name a replacement. The last press briefing, on September 3, was led by Vice President JD Vance. Leavitt now works at the Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. super PAC. Kayleigh McEnany also joined Fox News after serving as press secretary in Trump’s first term.
