KASU VC rejects ASUU’s claim that 200 lecturers resigned

Share:

Kaduna State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Musa, has rejected claims by the Academic Staff Union of Universities that more than 200 lecturers resigned over poor working conditions.

According to P.M. News, Musa described the allegation as misleading and unsupported by university records, challenging ASUU to provide names, resignation dates and reasons.

He said staff movements, including resignations and retirements, were normal in universities.

Musa highlighted government interventions, including over N800 million for staff welfare, while acknowledging unresolved issues and urging ASUU to pursue constructive dialogue rather than actions that could disrupt academic activities.
