Paris Jackson opens up about past suicide attempts, says treatment centre worsened PTSD

Paris Jackson has opened up about past suicide attempts, saying she left a Utah treatment facility with more PTSD than when she entered.

According to Us Weekly, the 28-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson discussed her experiences on Jay Shetty’s podcast, recalling being sent to the facility after a suicide attempt at 15.

Jackson alleged she experienced psychological, emotional and spiritual abuse there, though not physical or sexual abuse.

She also recalled another suicide attempt years later amid substance addiction.

Jackson said therapy, meditation and prayer now help her manage her mental health and navigate difficult periods.
