Left-handed Apple users cry foul over right-handed iPhone duo design

Apple’s newly unveiled $1,999 foldable iPhone Duo has sparked criticism from left-handed users who say its design favours right-handed users, according to the New York Post.

The Post reports that the device places key controls, including its side button and Touch ID sensor, along one side, potentially making one-handed use uncomfortable for lefties. Some users have called for a dedicated left-handed mode, while others argue software adjustments alone may not solve the problem, since physical components would also need to be mirrored.

Apple has promoted accessibility features including AssistiveTouch, Voice Control and Eye Tracking, but has not announced a left-handed option. The iPhone Duo is expected to launch on October 23.
