Liverpool see £60m Yankuba Minteh bid rejected by Brighton
Liverpool have had a second offer for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh rejected, with the latest proposal worth £60 million, according to The Athletic. The Merseyside club had previously seen a £50m bid turned down but returned with an improved offer for the 22-year-old.
Brighton are understood to value Minteh closer to £70m and could demand that figure before considering a sale. The Gambia international is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery on a leg injury and is expected to miss two to three months. Minteh scored three goals and registered four assists in 36 appearances last season.
