Man Utd launch secret Champions League scouting mission ahead of Sabah clash
Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their plans for the January transfer window by sending scouts to watch Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi in action against Aston Villa. The 22-year-old, who was linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer, scored from the penalty spot despite Club Brugge’s 3-2 Champions League defeat.
The report, published by Daily Express, claims United see Tresoldi as a potential long-term attacking option, particularly with Joshua Zirkzee’s future uncertain. Tresoldi finished last season as the Belgian Pro League’s top scorer with 19 goals and remains under contract until 2029, with Club Brugge reportedly valuing him at £43 million.
