Nigerian billionaire’s son Raheem Okoya reveals why he’s quitting music

Raheem Okoya, singer son of billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya, has announced he is stepping away from releasing new music, according to Vanguard.

The 23-year-old, professionally known as Sir Raheem, made the announcement in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, saying his other commitments had made it difficult to give music the dedication it deserves.

He described his musical journey as “magical” but said balancing it with his responsibilities as executive director of Eleganza Industrial City Limited, his father’s company, had grown harder.

Raheem left open the possibility of releasing previously recorded material, saying he believes he is sitting on his best work yet.
