The death of veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan — popularly known as Ogogo — from stage 4 cancer just weeks after diagnosis has renewed public interest in what an advanced cancer diagnosis means and whether it always signals imminent death.

As reported by Daily Trust, Hassan’s daughters Kira and Haleemah disclosed doctors diagnosed their father approximately three weeks before his passing. Kira announced the death during an Instagram Live session on Sunday.
