Oyebamiji finally congratulates Adeleke on Osun victory, makes one demand

All Progressives Congress governorship candidate Bola Oyebamiji has formally congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election victory in the August 15 Osun governorship election, while simultaneously calling for an immediate end to what he described as killings, harassment and intimidation of APC members and supporters in the post-election period.

In a statement issued on Saturday in Osogbo, as reported by PM News, Oyebamiji said: “The senseless killings, harassment and intimidation of members and supporters of our party must stop forthwith. Attacks on innocent citizens and their businesses must not be allowed to continue.”

The APC candidate also expressed concern over alleged attacks on small and medium businesses reportedly linked to their owners’ perceived non-allegiance to the Accord Party, describing such conduct as condemnable and incompatible with Osun’s economic development aspirations.

He urged APC members to remain resolute while expressing confidence in democratic institutions to protect their rights. The statement coincided with the 35th anniversary of Osun State’s creation.
