PFA Awards 2026: Bruno, Shaw, O’Reilly, Olivia Smith among winners

The 2026 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards have honoured outstanding performers across English football, with Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and City Women’s Bunny Shaw winning the men’s and women’s Player of the Year awards respectively. Nico O’Reilly was recognised after an impressive 2025/26 campaign with the young player award, while Smith secured the women’s young player prize for a second successive year.

According to Vanguard NGR, Hayden Hackney won the Championship Players’ Player of the Year, Dom Ballard claimed the League One award and Aaron Drinan took the League Two honour. Lily Crosthwaite was named WSL 2 Players’ Player of the Year. The main men’s Players’ Player of the Year award was also presented at the ceremony.
