Poco Lee faces rape, four other charges — UK court confirms

Nigerian dancer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been formally charged in the UK with five sexual offences, including two counts of rape, according to a report by Premium Times Nigeria.

Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed the charges as attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration, with a plea and trial preparation hearing set for 15 September. A reporting restriction protects the complainant’s identity.

Poco Lee, remanded in a UK prison, has not been convicted, and his management has urged restraint, disputing unverified claims, including allegations of “drink spiking,” circulating online.
