Prince Andrew turns down King’s vacation invite, feels ‘abandoned’ by royal family
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has declined King Charles’s offer to join the royal family on their annual Balmoral vacation, as up to 30 royals prepare for the Scotland trip.
A friend told The Sun that Andrew feels “abandoned” and no longer part of the family, seeing no point in being treated as “an elephant in the room.”
The former prince, evicted from Windsor earlier this year, now lives at Sandringham amid an ongoing police investigation into misconduct allegations linked to Jeffrey Epstein, according to The Daily Beast.
