Romania indicts Andrew Tate on trafficking, money laundering charges

Romanian prosecutors officially indicted social media influencer Andrew Tate on Friday for trafficking minors, money laundering, sex with a minor and witness tampering, with his brother Tristan indicted for complicity, according to a CNN report citing Reuters.

Prosecutors allege the brothers recruited victims by falsely promising relationships, then coerced them into producing pornographic content, with one victim seduced at age 15 in Britain before being moved to Bucharest.

The Tates, arrested in Miami in July pending UK extradition on rape charges, deny all wrongdoing, with their lawyer vowing to challenge the indictment’s legal basis.
