Six countries where travellers can obtain 10-year multiple-entry visas

Several countries offer multiple-entry visitor visas valid for up to 10 years, allowing eligible travellers to make repeated visits without applying for a new visa before every trip. According to The Nation⁠, the countries include:

1. United Kingdom
The UK offers Long-term Standard Visitor visas valid for two, five or 10 years. Nigerians can apply for the 10-year option, which allows multiple visits, generally for up to six months per visit.

2. Canada
Canada can issue multiple-entry visitor visas valid for up to 10 years, although the actual validity is determined by an immigration officer.

3. Mexico
Mexico offers Long-Term Visitor Visas valid for up to 10 years, with multiple entries permitted and stays generally limited to 180 days per visit.

4. Brazil
Brazil may issue visitor visas valid for up to 10 years under certain reciprocal arrangements.

5. United States
The US offers 10-year multiple-entry visitor visas to nationals of some countries, although Nigerians currently do not qualify for this validity.

6. China
China offers long-term multiple-entry visas to citizens of certain countries under reciprocal agreements.

The 10-year validity does not permit continuous residence; each visit remains subject to the destination country’s permitted stay.
