Three men charged over Old Firm Scottish Cup violence at Ibrox

Three men have been arrested and charged following violent disorder during last season’s Old Firm Scottish Cup quarter-final at Ibrox Stadium. According to Daily Record, the suspects, aged 45, 30 and 20, face assault and breach of the peace charges and have been released on undertakings to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

The March 8 clash descended into chaos after the match, with flares launched among supporters and attacks involving fans, police and stadium staff. The latest arrests take the total connected to the investigation to 43, while Police Scotland continues searching for other people linked to the disorder.
