Tinubu pays tribute to media aide Peter Onwubuariri

According to Vanguard, Onwubuariri died after a prolonged illness. He was posted from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) to the Presidential Villa in 2014 and served under former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari before continuing his role under the Tinubu administration.

Tinubu, in the statement, praised the late journalist’s professionalism, sound judgment and deep understanding of government-media relations, noting his years of dedicated service to the Presidency.

The President extended his condolences to Onwubuariri’s wife, children, family and colleagues, describing his death as a painful loss to those who worked closely with him over the years.
